When plans change: swimming is cancelled, now what?

When plans change: swimming is cancelled, now what?

An unexpected change is often harder than a busy day. The change itself is not the problem, the problem is that it stays invisible. daylumi makes the change visible before it happens.

Say what drops out

You type or speak: "Swimming is cancelled, Grandma picks Sara up at 3:30pm." daylumi finds swimming in today's plan and shows what changes.

A change is a block of its own

Instead of quietly deleting something, daylumi places a Change block in the day. Your child sees that something is different, with a visual attached, clearer than a hole in the plan.

An alternative from what your child knows

daylumi suggests a replacement from activities your child already knows and enjoys, and shifts the rest of the day along. You can adjust or reject the suggestion.

Review first, then confirm

The active plan never changes by itself. You see the suggestion next to the current day; only after your confirmation does your child see the new version.

A quiet moment usually fits

With a big change it often helps to add a short quiet step before the new part starts. You can add it with one tap.

Test it with your next change: tell daylumi what drops out and review the suggestion.
