Our approach to privacy for children's data

You trust us with your child's day. That is why we keep the data involved as small and as close to you as possible. Here is exactly what daylumi does and does not do.

As little data as possible

A first name and an avatar are enough. We do not ask for a diagnosis, a medical record or anything about your child's support needs. What you enter, activities, routines, pictograms, is planning, not a profile.

Processing inside the EU

Account and subscription data is processed within the European Union, with per-account access rules. You can delete your account and its data yourself from Settings.

Photos stay with you

Your own photos used as visuals stay on your device. There is one exception: if you explicitly ask for a photo to be described, that photo is sent for that single action. Without that tap, it never leaves.

AI works on text, not on your child

The AI features receive text only: the labels and descriptions you typed, plus the language. No photos, no health data, no diagnoses. AI features stay off until you give consent.

Sharing happens per child

Want a grandparent or carer to follow along? You grant access per child, explicitly, and you can withdraw it again. There is no blanket or bulk access across families.

No ads, no profiling

We do not sell data and we do not use children's data for advertising or profiling. There are also no scores or streaks measuring your child's behaviour.
